NY based Creator / Photographer / Researcher / Traveler
Moved around as a child, including Japan and Columbus, Ohio, USA. After graduating from Tokyo Tama Art University, joined Sony Corporation as a package designer. Transferred to be a GUI designer, in charge of car audio, home audio, VAIO, and mobile phone products. Was seconded to the newly established Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications AB (SEMC), moved to London (UK), and based in Lund (Sweden) as a UI/UX Art director. Worked on the corporate branding strategy, product design, and team development with members from seven different countries. After returning to Japan, worked on product design, brand strategy, and team development for SEMC Japan. Returned to Sony Corporation as a UI/UX design producer, conduct user research, focus group interviews, and workshops, to lead the UX development in the New development business, TV business, VAIO, and other businesses.
Retired after working for 18 years, moved to the US to get married to NY based photographer Hiroyuki Ito, and became a freelance UX designer and marketing researcher. Visiting various places such as Peru and Brazil in South America, Europe, and all-around in Japan is my pleasurable hobby. In recent years, expanding the working field of activity as a photographer.
